A custom paint job, complete with a Canadian maple leaf, will make this a unique and legendary tribute to Canada.
Titan Motorcycles of Phoenix, Arizona will take SUPERSHOW 2005's Show audience step-by-step through the construction of a 2005 Softail Canadian Tribute Chopper over the course of the three days of the Show, culminating on Sunday afternoon, January 9th. Once complete this 'Legend in the Making' will go on tour across Canada and the United States throughout 2005. Its value at completion will be $43,000.

Top Titan Builder Tim Vansutphen will lead the Build Project on the Titan Stage in Hall 3 and will be selecting members of the audience to apprentice with the Titan Crew at various times throughout the Show. Participants will assist in the assembly but will be under pressure from Tim and his team to live up to Titan's standards. They may borrow Donald Trump's catch phrase and announce 'you're fired' at any time and select a new apprentice. All Apprentices will receive an official Titan Apprentice certificate for helping.

How you can get to be a Titan Apprentice

Spearheaded by Donn Proudfoot, President of Titan Motorcycles and a Canadian himself, the project was inspired by a visit to Gravenhurst in 2004 to visit his hospitalized mother. Donn was so impressed with the outpouring of kindness and community support that permeated his entire visit he wanted to find a way to pay tribute to Canadians. The Titan Crew in Phoenix are busy preparing the components for assembly during the three days of the SUPERSHOW.
A similar project in 2002 saw the 'God Bless America' bike unveiled at the SUPERSHOW and rise to legend status as it made its way across the country paying tribute to those who lost their lives in 9/11. That bike is now owned by a Hollywood Celebrity and had a huge impact at events throughout the U.S.

Apprentice info: Want to be an apprentice for an hour? Sign up at the Titan Show Truck in Hall 3 on Friday, Saturday or Sunday for your chance to apprentice with the actual Titan builders. You should have some experience with motorcycles and be able to step into the situation and get right to work.

See you at the Show!
